Steven Joseph Donaldson, affectionately known as “Stebo”
,
passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 55 years old.
He was born to Shirley Donaldson and the late Otis Donaldson
on November 19, 1968, in Pensacola Florida.
Steven was a graduate of Pensacola High School, class of 1986,
and in June of 1988, he Joined the United States Army where
he served for two years as a SPC, Motor Transport Operator.
During his service in the military, he served in Alaska, where
he received an honorable discharge. Steven attended trade
school at George Stone Technical College and received a
certification in Air Conditioning and Heating. Steven held
many positions, one of which was with ECUA. Steven was a
“master of all trades”
, he could just about do a little bit of
everything when he wanted to. Steven was a Christian and
would enjoy discussing God’s word with his family. Steven
always wanted to make you laugh, a comedian at heart and an
impersonator of many people, but at the forefront, he was a
dancer. Steven loved to cook out on the grill, he was always
volunteering to grill for his mother at family gatherings. The
entire family have so many hilarious stories to share about
Steven and remember forever!
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Otis Donaldson;
his sisters Violet, Ursula and Maria and his brother Dewayne
Donaldson.
Steven is survived by his mother Shirley Donaldson; his
children Steven Donaldson Jr., Dennis Brown and his
daughter Chelsea Donaldson; his four grandchildren; and his
siblings, Otis Donaldson Jr., Cheryl Howard (Jason), Anthony
Donaldson, Andrea Pressley (Darrion), Annette Bristow,
Sandra Donaldson and a host of nieces, nephews and great
friends.
