Lawrence Nichols II, age 80, born May 24,1944 in Pensacola, Florida, died June 2, 2024 in Gallup, New Mexico with his wife by his side.
Lawrence was the beloved husband of Renee Salick Berry Nichols; devoted father to daughters Lauren Nichols Sandy (Allen), Alexandria Nichols Locigno (Bill), Celina McDonald (Brian); stepson Alex Berry (Heather), loving grandfather to Cale Sandy (Annabella), Owen Sandy, Camille Sandy, Fiona Locigno, Elijah McDonald, Eve McDonald, Kayla and Kendall Berry; Tori Hixson; great-granddaughter Lilith Sandy; great-grandsons Charles Wilson and Connor Townsend; sisters Tracey Adams Golay and Marlou Adams Hagwood.
Lawrence enjoyed many hobbies including but not limited to: motorcycling, cooking, music, photography, videography, throwing a great party, ancestry, and spending time with family and friends.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents, Martha Wicker Nichols Adams, stepfather US Naval Chief Petty Officer (Ret) Samuel “Chief” Joseph Adams; brothers Rockhill Lenard Nichols, Steve Alfred Adams; sister Jolene Adams Avant; father Lawrence Nichols, Sr., and nephew Seiya Adams.
The funeral will be at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, 500 N Reus St, Pensacola, FL 32501, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 2:30 PM. He will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1300 E Hayes St, Pensacola, FL 32501 after the service.
